Together with Faculty of Transport CTU Prague, the University of Pardubice and the University of Economics Prague we updated the SUMP methodology (so-called SUMP 2.0), based on ongoing consultations with politicians, officials, experts and the public.
The goal of SUMP, as defined by the European Union, is to help cities develop tools for strategic planning, and change transport behavior towards sustainable modes of transport. This tool helps cities address some of their current problems with air quality, accessibility, mobility, traffic safety, traffic noise, energy efficiency, connectivity of transport system and overall quality of life.
