Solution
Although a town of a hilly terrain, Jihlava is well-known as being friendly to cyclists. In the proof, a new cycleway can be mentioned which offers a safe connection for cyclists going from Jihlava to Pávov and to the industrial zone in the north town (with company address of many important employers). The new cycleway leads from Bedrichov (the 5. kvetna Street) along the Pavovska Street in the space between Jihlava-Havlickuv Brod railway line and Road I/38 (feeder road).
Apart from the cycleway itself, the project also includes an underpass as a safety crossing of the cycleway and the local road on Sokolovska Street, as well as a ramp that enables to interconnect the cycleway with a bridge. The total length of the cycleway is 3.1km. Moreover, 20 new parking spaces for bicycles were implemented within the project.
