Although there are more than 40,000km of local, regional and long-distance cycle tracks in the Czech Republic, this network registers only 3,240km (to November 30, 2017).

The Olomouc Region is the only one in the CR which updates data on cycle tracks on yearly basis. There are 434km of various types of cycle tracks registered in the Olomouc region to January 30, 2020, which is almost 100km more than in 2017. When the coefficient from the Olomouc Region is applied in other regions, an estimated 1,400km of new cycle routes have been delivered in our country within the last three years. Thus, an estimated 4,640km of various types of cycle tracks have been delivered in the Czech Republic to December 31, 2020.
